EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS
2022

This is one of the projects I’m most proud of because there was no brief! I overheard the sports marketing team saying the women’s team would be visiting the office prior to the Euro Champs for a meeting. I saw this as a great opportunity to capture content of the team.

At the time of the shoot, the German Women’s team were ranked number 2 in the world. The German federation was sponsored by a competitor, so no Nike-branded images of the team were allowed. However, Nike sponsored 15 out of the 22 players, giving us the opportunity to create a ‘Nike’ team image.

I quickly assembled a proposal deck and presented it to the leadership team. Once the budget was approved, the Berlin Studio team  made the shoot happen!

We captured a hero campaign image as well as editorial content for social media. As a nod to the nation we subtly incorporated the colours of the German flag into the players’ styling.

English Line Translation – ‘The Football, Football has been waiting for.’
